Course overview
Genetics is the science of heredity and heredity deals with the mechanisms of inheritance. The Genetics program represents three main areas: classical genetics, population genetics and molecular genetics. Students will study advances in medicine, agricultural techniques, the heritability of traits, genetically modified organisms, genetic counselling and gene therapy.
