Course overview
Art history is the study of many forms of visual expression, both traditional artforms such as painting or sculpture and contemporary, emerging media. Such artworks can carry passionate expressions of identity, politics or gender. Interpreting and discussing visual arts can contribute to contemporary issues including social justice, reconciliation, environmental issues or globalization.
