Course overview
The MA in Modern Languages is an MA by directed research which culminates in the production of 15,000-word dissertation. It allows postgraduates to pursue an individual research project through weekly supervisory meetings with a subject specialist.
Alongside modules which are designed to provide a course of guided research, students also take a compulsory taught module which introduces them to the discipline of modern language studies in the UK and to the range and diversity of current research in languages and cultures.
