Course overview

Put public health principles into effect in a variety of settings including research, practice, policy, and at the interface of applied research.

With a specific focus on public health economics and policy at a population level, this Master of Public Health (MPH) – Health Economics and Policy is ideal if you are working in health services management, policy and planning housing, transport, community groups or governmental organisations.

The programme’s specialist focus on current public health priorities in low income countries explores the relationship between strategic health planning and policy formation. You will also critically evaluate governmental and market healthcare activities, and the behaviour of consumers and organisations in these healthcare markets.
