Course overview

The Postgraduate Certificate in Archaeology will enable you to develop your skills and knowledge, whether you wish to study to enhance your career prospects or prepare for doctoral research.

You can choose from a wide selection of modules, tailoring the course to meet your needs or specialising in one individual topic. You can also use your PGCert as a stepping stone towards one of our three Masters degrees: in Archaeology and Heritage, Historical Archaeology, or The Classical Mediterranean.

Studying by Distance Learning allows you to fit your study around your existing work and family commitments. You will be provided with support from our expert archaeology staff and allocated a tutor whom you can contact directly for advice and guidance.


Entry requirements

IELTS 6.5 or equivalent if English is not your first language.
