About International Foundation Year - Engineering Route, International Foundation Year - at University of Leeds
The International Foundation Year - Engineering Route fully prepares international students for entry onto a wide range of engineering-related undergraduate degree programmes.
It may suit you if you are an international student with the potential and motivation to succeed, but currently without the formal qualifications for entry to one of our undergraduate degree programmes.
Our International Foundation Year - Engineering Route guarantees all students who pass with the required grades, progression onto a wide range of engineering-related degree programmes at the University.
Course content
This International Foundation Year - Engineering Route is a one-year foundation year (level 0) programme taught at National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 3. The International Foundation Year - Engineering Route provides a firm grounding in the subjects required for the students' intended undergraduate degree programmes. Those who successfully complete the International Foundation Year by achieving specific grades are admitted to level 1 of one of a wide range of engineering-related undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University of Leeds. Course structure
The course is a 9-month, 3-term programme. It runs from September to mid-June of the next year. You will study academic study skills as well as subject specific content. Subject specific modules are taught by Leeds University academic staff and tailored to your chosen degree, so you can be sure that you are fully prepared to start your degree programme.
