About Information and Communications Engineering (Autonomous Systems and Robotics), MSc - at University of Klagenfurt

Are you interested in autonomous systems that interact with their environment using mechatronic components? The branch of study "Autonomous Systems and Robotics" in the Master's degree programme "Information and Communications Engineering" provides you with the tools you need to work in many emerging fields of technology: autonomous robotics, driving assistance systems, self-driving cars, networked sensor and actuator technology, networked control technology and intelligent production systems are just a few of them.

The English-language degree programme welcomes Bachelor graduates from the fields of information technology, electrical engineering, telematics and computer science. You will learn everything you need to know to be able to identify technological paradigm shifts and to develop and use new information and communication technologies. At the same time, this degree programme features a high level of practical relevance: You can complete a research or industry internship amounting to 6 ECTS credits. Our courses and labs are designed to challenge your mind and give you the opportunity to work on new technologies hands-on. Your lecturers are actively involved in international research projects - usually in cooperation with industry partners - and many of our students are given the chance to work on innovative projects during their studies, allowing them to get a real taste of research.
