Course overview

This course is for anyone wanting to begin a career in coaching people across all ages and abilities as well as those interested in teaching physical education.

Our links with local authority sports development units (and other organisations) open up opportunities for work experience, coaching education courses, workshops and events.

You'll learn from tutors who've collaborated with the likes of FIFA, the International Olympic Committee and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

And you'll benefit from specialist facilities, such as our Sports Rehabilitation Suite, Health and Human Performance Laboratory, Environmental Chamber, Performance Analysis Suite, and Exercise Physiology Laboratories.

Hull is the exclusive Official University partner of Team GB - which means you'll get the chance to hear from athletes and get involved with Team GB. We also have an exclusive partnership with leading wearable technology and performance analysis company Catapult Sport.

You'll be studying at a university that invests in its sporting talent. Through our Talented Athlete Programme, you may be eligible for a scholarship to support your sporting development. Scholarships are offered to selected high-performing athletes and include a tailored package of support, advice, mentoring and personal development.
