About Psychology, MSc - at University of Greenwich

This MSc Psychology (research) programme is aimed at graduates who would like to enhance their understanding of research methods and statisticsin psychology. Students will be given high quality training in Advanced Research Methods in Psychology and Advanced Statistics which will enhance their research skills and provide them with new skills in the use of a variety of more advanced research methodologies, tools and statistics appropriate to research in psychology.

Across the year, students will have the opportunity to undertake an individual piece of research on a topic of their choice in psychology, under the supervision of a member of staff. This research will be informed by their learning on the other courses and will require students to produce a piece of research of publishable quality. As part of their research project, students are required to produce a research poster which they must defend at a student conference and a final project report.

The MSc Psychology (research) programme provides excellent preparation for doctoral study or for aresearch career.

  • To provide students with an understanding of the links between theory, research and practice in relation to psychology
