Course overview

This programme will develop your knowledge of the broad areas of business and management. You will also study language courses that will enable you to achieve fluency in either French, Italian or Spanish. On graduation, your award will reflect your chosen language, for example BA Hons Business with Language (Spanish).

Career development

As part of your studies you will have the opportunity to work with business professionals and/or local communities on live projects in order to gain valuable practical experience. You will also have the option to undertake a work placement in your third year.

International experience

You can also participate in the Erasmus+ international exchange programme to enhance your language development and gain experience of living and working in another country. The scheme provides a grant towards the cost of studying abroad for part of the degree.

Outcomes

The aims of the programme are:

  • To develop your knowledge of the broad areas of business and management withadditional emphasis on language skills
  • To allow students to develop a command of subject-specific skills includingapplication of knowledge and proficiency in intellectual skills
  • To equip students to deal with uncertainty and complexity, to explore alternativesolutions and to integrate theory and practice in a range of situations.
