About Health and Wellbeing, BSc (Hons) - at University of Greenwich

From its medical advances to its media attention,there couldn't be a more exciting time to begin a career in the healthindustry.

Our degree offers a vibrant studentexperience with high-quality teaching and world-class research.The health courses will give you a solid foundation in wellbeing for body andmind and help you move into your area of expertise.

During your training with us you will engage in scientificstudy, critically analysing the social and psychologicalaspects of health and wellbeing. This will include studying care for bothcommunities and individuals. Your training will encompass social, economic andcultural elements of the health sector.

All our teaching staff are research-activeand experts in their fields. Under their guidance you will contribute to theevidence base, appraise and use research, plus developknowledge and insight into vital policies and core health and wellbeingstrategies.

Your final year will culminate in an excitingon-the-job placement, where students will spend time working with potentialemployers, carving out future career opportunities.

We are thrilled that as a result of our creativeteaching methods and assessment techniques, our department consistently rateshighly in the renowned NationalStudent Survey. We welcome students from adiverse range of backgrounds and are able to offer support to those who needit.
