Industry links

This degree has been designed around criteria established by e-skills UK, the Sector Skills Council for IT and Telecoms, and is supported by some of the leading businesses in this country. The learning is split into four broadly even quartiles, each of which provides a themed area of study and learning outcomes including information technology, business management, project management and, finally, interpersonal and transferable skills.

The programme ensures that graduates have confidence in presenting and selling ideas, concepts and solutions. Graduates are also taught to be flexible, open minded and reflective when listening to others and trying to understand their needs and the contexts of those needs. The programme is recognised by over 90 international and national companies including Accenture, BA, BBC, CA, Capgemini, Cisco, Deloitte, Ford, Fujitsu, HP/EDS, IBM, ITV, Logica, Micro Focus, Morgan Stanley, Network Rail, Proctor and Gamble, Sainsbury's, SAS and Unilever.
