If youeat, sleep and breathe sport, our unique, interactive degree will help you pursue yourpassion.

Ourdegree includes hands-on, practical sport courses which will allow you to flourishin your chosen specialism whether your area is dance, gymnastics, athletics,swimming or games.

Wehave excellent sportingfacilities to support your training, these include an indoor Airdome(astroturf), sports hall, and a specialist dance studio.

Aspart of your degree you will have the opportunity to complete a sport-relatedwork placement so you can put into practice the skills and experience you'll belearning during your time with us.

Ourdegree provides not only activity based training but vital theoretical courses.Here you will discover the principles of teaching and coaching with coursesrelated to sport policy, practice and development. You will also examine thescientific, psychological and sociological aspects of the subject.

With asports focus, we help you develop key transferable skills such as team work,problem solving, self-assessment, IT and maths. Research skills are developedin each year leading to a supervised Independent Study course in the finalyear.
