  • BSc Economics with econometrics has a core of key economic modules, alongside a range of specialist econometrics modules.
  • Develop your understanding of Econometrics by learning how to apply statistical concepts and methods to economics.
  • Explore a variety of subject areas including data analysis, estimation, model-fitting and testing of hypotheses, as well as special techniques for dealing with economic data.
  • Develop knowledge in econometrics which is relevant to a range of related problems in applied economics including time series analysis, forecasting and policy simulation.

The BSc Economics with Econometrics degree offers you the opportunity to spend a year working in a related industry or studying abroad.

If you choose one of these options your placement year will take place in your third year, before returning to complete your degree at Exeter in your fourth and final year of study.

You can apply directly to one of these options, or you can apply to the standard BSc Economics with Econometrics course and transfer onto one of these options in the first term of your first year.
