Why study this program?
If you are not sure what Science topic you want to major in, you can select an Undeclared major for your first year, during which time you should consider up to three choices for major, taking courses pertaining to each. After your first year, you can then declare your major without falling behind in that program.
This Undeclared major is taken as part of a Bachelor of Science degree. Augustana also offers an Undecided major as part of a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Why study at the University of Alberta?
Augustana is a small campus located in Camrose, Alberta, just one hour southeast of Edmonton. This liberal arts and science campus is home to just over 1,000 students from across Canada and around the world. Augustana offers degree programs in an intimate and personalized setting, with an average class size of 22 people.
Each semester is comprised of a three-week session studying a single course, followed by a more traditional 11-week session studying up to four courses. This gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into research, travel, and other experiential learning endeavors, while at the same time reducing stress and workload.
