Course overview
University College Utrecht (UCU) is one of the international honours colleges of Utrecht University in the Netherlands (Times Higher Education ranking 2017, #86). UCU specializes in liberal arts and sciences undergraduate education. Students compose an individual curriculum from over 200 different courses in humanities, science and social science. The UCU approach is personal: classes are small (on average 20 students in a class), participation is actively encouraged and all students have a personal tutor. The admissions process is highly selective: students are admitted on the basis of academic excellence, an international focus, social engagement and extracurricular activities. All 700 students (50% international) live on campus in the historic city of Utrecht
