Course overview
The cultural and creative industries are among the most dynamic sectors of the world economy and offer countless new and high growth opportunities for development. UNESCO actively encourages all countries in the world to protect and promote their inherited cultural capital, and cultural creative enterprises are becoming primary driving forces of the economy.
The aim of the Bachelor of the Business Administration (Honours) in Culture, Creativity and Management degree programme is to equip students with a solid foundation in the principles of managing cultural capital. At UIC, we embrace this with our liberal arts philosophy, as we understand that there are artists (people who produce cultural capital) and managers (people who manage both the economic value and the cultural value produced by cultural capital).
Our graduates are in a strong position to gain employment with private and public organizations in greater China or abroad. They may be employed by government agencies, public cultural institutions, cultural enterprises, heritage management organizations, consulting companies, and private and public corporations with regards to culture and creativity management.
