The development of successful and sustainable tourism requires extensive insights into complex socio-economic and political contexts that affect tourism, at local, regional, national and international level, as well as good insights into the complex relationship between economic, social and environmental preconditions and impacts of tourism.

Eligibility
Basic requirements: A Bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, 180 ECTS) from an internationally recognised university. Special
Requirements: Minimum 30 ECTS-credits in social science-oriented subjects. In addition, at least 7.5 ECTS in scientific methods (quantitative or qualitative) is required. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English 6/level 2.
