About Psychology with Specialisation in Health Psychology, MSc - at Umeå University
What does psychology have to do with health? Very much, it turns out. How we think, feel and behave have major consequences both for how we stay healthy, whether we get sick and how we deal with illness. In addition, our psychological processes are affected by environmental factors, such as work and the living environment. This program is strongly research-oriented and takes a holistic perspective on humans and human health, and deals with both biological, psychological and contextual factors.
A master’s degree in health psychology improves your qualifications to work in various professional fields, but especially in healthcare.
