Course overview
The programme offers the opportunity to develop a financial theoretical base, analytical skills, communication, and other important, skills necessary for a successful career in the financial sector. You will get a good understanding of financial instruments and markets, necessary in financial consulting, financial risk management and as a business analyst. Sustainability and internationalization is an integral part of the educational environment.

A Bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, 180 credits) from an internationally recognised university with a major in Business
Selection
Selection is based on GMAT and academic credits in this order. The selection of applicants is done in the following order: 1. Test results from GMAT
(Graduate Management Admissions Test). Percent of testresults is the applicants meritrating. 2. Academic credits by the last application date (in the range of 30-285 credits equivalent to ECTS). For GMAT scores must be submitted directly to Umeå University. For GMAT you need to indicate Umeå University when registering for the test.
