Course overview
The Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People) (DDTAL) has been specially designed for practitioners working outside of formal education with children and young people. The qualification is available to the dance sector through the examinations board Trinity College London and is a major development responding to the need for a larger skilled workforce in children and young people's dance. Trinity Laban has been delivering courses since the inception of the Diploma and has graduates working in many different contexts.
Please apply online and complete a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) form available online on the Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People) page (under How to Apply). On receipt of your application form, the Professional Development Manager will contact you to confirm your training route: Full-course, Fast-track or Mentoring ONLY. Applications can be made throughout the year but start dates for each unit of study will vary and can be obtained on line or from Trinity Laban.
