Course overview
Ranking in the World Top 20 languages, with more native speakers in Europe than any other, German makes an excellent partner subject to Business.
This programme gives you the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of the business world (public, private and not-for-profit), a professional standard of German, and an appreciation of German-language literature and culture, from medieval to contemporary times.
Our Business programmes are highly sought-after and accredited by a wide range of leading business education organisations and professional bodies. Leading graduate employers are involved across the Business curriculum, and the language curriculum includes a careers-focused interview project with German speakers in Edinburgh.
Uniquely in Scotland, studying at Edinburgh enables you to take a full year abroad as part of your four-year undergraduate programme, either studying, teaching or working. You'll therefore spend Year 3 in a country where German is spoken.
