Course overview
This course is ideal if you want to help organisations succeed through the effective management of people.
In today’s fast moving knowledge economy, people are the key to competitive success. Human resource management is about developing policies, processes and management approaches to identify and develop human potential, and harness it to meet organisational goals.
You learn a broad range of core business skills including marketing, finance and law, enabling you to work in various business roles and sectors. You also gain specialist knowledge of human resource management in areas such as employee learning and development, performance management and leadership, and employee relations.
In year three, you can take a valuable one year paid work placement, which increases your industry knowledge and skills and employability. We help you find a suitable placement, and support you while you are there.
