About Advanced Engineering Metals, MSc - at Sheffield Hallam University
This course has been developed in partnership with the National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC). It equips you with the knowledge and expertise essential for the effective development and exploitation of materials, metals and manufacturing issues. Typically you will have a first degree in a technological discipline such as engineering or materials science. You also need to be in relevant employment. The course is has two sets of modules. One set contains engineering metals modules covering topics such as advanced metallic materials, steelmaking and continuous casting, and fatigue and fracture mechanics.
