Course overview
This course provides you with expert knowledge in applied marketing concepts, together with practical experience. It offers you a complete developmental and professional experience which includes
* an in depth understanding of the principles, concepts and techniques of marketing in various organisational contexts
* the ability to apply marketing knowledge to a range of business problems
* marketing work experience
A key feature of the course is the client-sponsored project, which involves applying marketing knowledge in an organisational setting. You develop your professional skills by working on actual business problems.
You can study specialist areas of marketing such as * advertising and promotion * retail marketing * global marketing * sales management * product innovations * distribution channel management.
You may be able to spend part of your second year studying abroad in an English speaking country such as Australia, Canada and the USA.
In the third year, you can take a paid work placement in a marketing role. You sharpen your practical knowledge and increase your employability. We help you find a suitable placement and provide support throughout. Or you can go straight to your final year and gain valuable work experience through the work-based learning module.
