About Acting: Musical Theatre, BA (Hons) - at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

  • Train to become an accomplished actor with extensive training in singing and dancing;
  • Experience a diverse and inclusive range of different performance types, putting your skills in to practice in musicals, classical and contemporary plays;
  • Learn from industry professionals alongside our dedicated academic staff in a creative and empowered environment;
  • Extensive industry exposure obtained through public productions and a showcase in Central London for agents and casting directors;

Alongside a complete actor training, you will learn the key disciplines of acting through song and movement to develop into a well-rounded performer who can work in musicals and other theatre-focused productions as well as film, television and radio-based performance.

This programme takes a bold approach to musical theatre training, unapologetically placing the skills and experiences of the actor at the forefront. Graduates are often in demand across a range of different performance types with West End and Broadway only some of the many performance destinations that are possible.
