Course overview
Nowadays the field of information technologies is full of opportunities and challenges.
The Master study programme is designed for graduates who want to deepen their knowledge and skills in computer science, software engineering, theory of computer systems development, database technologies, programming languages, software development environments and artificial intelligence.
In addition, it develops the ability to participate in software development projects, fulfill different (including manager) roles and comply with IT industry standards and professional ethics.
Entry requirements
All International students, if English is not their first language, are required to provide a proof of English language knowledge. The following methods are acceptable:
IELTS – a minimum overall grade of 6.0, Please note that IELTS test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
TOEFL (iBT)- a minimum overall score 75. TOEFL institutional code for Riga Technical University is 8498. Please note that TOEFL iBT test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted;
Present a letter confirming that previous education was in English;
