Course overview
Animation is communication through movement and narrative and this degree will help you to build your practice and apply your animation skills to a broad range of careers.
This course encourages you to think on your feet and respond to live and self-initiated briefs to solve creative problems.
Our students are adaptive thinkers who understand how animation may collaborate with other art forms.
We use a mix of practice and theory-based learning, including lectures, seminars, workshops, individual tutorials and self-directed study. You will explore the medium using industry standard software and will produce an assessed portfolio of creative and professional work.
Animation graduates often work as 3D/2D generalists as well as specialists in areas including concept, modelling, animation and VFX production. Our graduates are often employed in film and television, visual effects, advertising, post-production, apps and games.
