Course overview
Want to go to University but don't want to study a typical course?
Then our Business Management (2 Year In-Company) course is for you!
Nottingham Business School created this distinctive course to offer a unique work-based learning experience, which will enhance your employability and enable you to have impact in the workplace.
This course will enable you to develop your self-confidence, self-reliance and independence and enable you to take responsibility for your own learning and career development. It will help develop your professionalism and ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
During your first year you will be studying at Nottingham Business School and will be introduced to the basics of business and also prepare you for employment by adopting a professional approach to learning and work. During Year Two and Year Three, you will complete work-based learning whilst on placement.
Due to the nature of the course you will pay attention to problem solving and explaining how things occur rather than simply knowing more.
In some circumstances students choosing this course may have the opportunity to switch to the BA (Hons) Business Management (1 Year In-Company) course after their second year and complete their final year back at University.
This route is ideal if your approach to learning is more practical. Subject to securing a two-year placement you will learn in the work-place during your second and third year. This course will challenge and test you, but ultimately provide you with the opportunity to develop skills and experience that will give you a distinct advantage over other graduates.
