Course overview
The Professional Translation for European Languages MA combines practical training and theory to give you the skills and knowledge to become a professional translator.

You'll work between English and one/two of the following languages:
- French
- German
- Italian
- Spanish
The professional translation focus is a distinctive feature of this course. It incorporates:
- translation theory
- practice
- professionalism in translation
You will receive expert training in professional tools and computer-assisted translation (CAT) software. The training will explain how to work in different contexts, such as:
- business and finance
- legal
- technical
- marketing and publicity
- literary translation
