About Executive Master of Business Administration, MBA - at Newcastle University

The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) is designed for senior leaders who want to shape their organisation’s future and their own career. You will explore and pioneer solutions to global challenges in relation to yourself, your organisation and wider society.

The EMBA is a part-time, flexible, work-based programme. It is delivered using a blended learning model with monthly two day study blocks on campus during teaching time. In advance of study block attendance, you will engage individually and collectively with the programme and module specific blended learning materials and resources. This will still allow you to study flexibly around your work and personal commitments.

The group intake will be small. You will benefit from:

The curriculum is dynamic and relevant. It combines world-leading research, thought leaders from the world of policy and practice and real time projects. The EMBA is also work-based and experiential. Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship

The EMBA is available as a progression route when studying the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship leading to a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies.

In line with the Government guidance and University response to COVID-19 in 2020, we modified the design to facilitate the programme primarily through our Virtual Learning Environment, Canvas. Our delivery plan enables us to respond quickly to any changes in Government guidance and restrictions.
