Course overview
Midway University's Education Studies - Math emphasis major is designed for students who do not need teacher certification because they do not intend to teach in the United States, or whose career goal is to hold a paraprofessional position in a school, or who intend to go directly into a Master of Teaching (MAT) program. The program does not require completion of PRAXIS I, PRAXIS II, student teaching, or the methods courses.
Entry requirements
High School GPA of 2.5 (on 4.0 scale); Top 50% of class; ACT score of 18 or SAT score of 860 (Reading + Math); TOEFL 500 written, 173 computer, 61 internet; Financial guarantee (proof of ability to pay for 1 year of school after scholarships)
