In today's world, where entrepreneurship is thriving, this course offers a step-by-step journey through the entire process of starting a business - from coming up with an idea to making it a reality.
With entrepreneurship insights from specialist management disciplines, you will develop practice-based skills and knowledge in strategy and marketing, as well as an understanding of innovation from a behavioural perspective.
Our aim is to enhance your decision-making abilities, help you identify market opportunities, foster teamwork, cultivate critical thinking in leadership, stimulate creativity, and develop your entrepreneurial leadership skills.
You can also choose to study MSc Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship with Professional Placement and complete a 12-month industry placement, gaining real-world experience while you're still studying.

What Will You Learn?
In your first few months, this course will arm you with various theories and contemporary methods that give you the basis of knowledge to develop a business plan. You'll be applying financial management tools, valuing a venture, and putting in place methods for predicting and measuring financial performance.
In the following months, you will explore issues of project management, business networks, product development, and international entrepreneurship and its contributions to the global economy. With this knowledge, you'll be able to develop social capital, create effective marketing strategies, and manage projects. You will work with students from other faculties such as engineering on live innovative projects.
Working closely with the Enterprise Development Hub, you will gain practical experience by running workshops, mentoring undergraduates, and tackling real-world cases for small enterprises. This hands-on involvement will provide you with valuable insights and practical skills that employers seek.
