This course is designed for graduates and legal professionals who want to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales through the Solicitors' Qualifying Examination (SQE) route. It is suitable for recent UK LLB graduates, law graduates from other jurisdictions, paralegals and those working in legal roles, as well as internationally qualified lawyers seeking to requalify in England and Wales.
The LLM Advanced Legal Practice (SQE Pathway) prepares you for the mandatory SQE assessments while developing your ability to analyse complex legal issues systematically and creatively.
This course is delivered in collaboration with The College of Legal Practice, a fully accredited higher education provider and a wholly owned UK subsidiary of The College of Law in Australia.

On this course, you will develop advanced legal knowledge and practical skills aligned with both postgraduate study and the requirements of legal practice.
You will gain a strong foundation in the core areas of law assessed in the Solicitors' Qualifying Examinations (SQE), including dispute resolution, business law, property law, criminal law, and wills and the administration of estates. The course is designed to prepare you effectively for the SQE, supported by specialist teaching developed in partnership with The College of Legal Practice.
