About Nursing (Adult) BSc, BSc (Hons) - at Middlesex University

Overview A hugely rewarding career in nursing Developed in partnership with the NHS trusts, the course will see you spend 50% of your time on placements with our partner hospitals. You’ll learn the essential nursing skills needed to take effective care of adult patients in a live environment. You’ll develop your skills in communication, care and compassion, demonstrating your dedication to making a difference in other people’s lives. Beyond the essential nursing skills, you’ll build your problem-solving skills and critical decision making, gaining confidence to work in a high pressure, stressful environment. Supporting your nursing career Our personalised approach gives you the support you need to succeed as a student. While you're an undergraduate or foundation year student, you’ll have a Personal Tutor directly related to your course. If you need support with academic writing, numeracy and library skills, we’ll be sure to provide it. Our Student Learning and Graduate Academic Assistants have studied your subject and can support you based on their own experience. With a BSc in Nursing, you’ll become an independent and self-motivated practitioner with a range of career options. Previously, graduates have gone on to work as nurses, health coordinators, ward managers and more. Accreditation Our degree is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
