1. Premedical Course overview

• Comprehensive Curriculum: With 974 academic hours, our course covers crucial topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Medical English, Polish, Anatomy and other subjects useful during the first year of medical studies at MUL.

2. Course details

Course duration: November 2026 – July 2027

First semester – online, second semester – on campus

During the Preparatory Course we offer 974 academic hours*:

• Classes and laboratory in Biology – 160 hours
• Classes and laboratory in Chemistry – 160 hours
• Classes and laboratory in Physics – 128 hours
• Classes in Medical English – 280 hours
• Classes in Polish – 140 hours
• Classes in Anatomy – 30 hours
• Introduction to academic professionalism, social competencies and learning skills – 50 hours
• Classes in Basic Life Support – 12 hours
• NEW from the year 2026/2027: Classes and laboratory in Introduction to Histology – 14 hours

*academic hour = 45 minutes

Entry requirements

• • A high school diploma or a secondary school leaving certificate or equal as GCE A-level certificates or IB and EB diplomas qualifying for admission to a university or a medical school in the home country;
    • Some certificates require additional recognition: LIST OF CERTIFICATES REQUIRING RECOGNITION

  • Extended level of knowledge in 2 of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics – documented by the above mentioned school leaving certificates/diplomas. The grades required should be above the average.
  • English competency must be confirmed by the respective certificates (LIST OF ACCEPTED CERTIFICATES) if:
    • a candidate is not EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizen or
    • a candidate is EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizen but his secondary education was conducted in system other than: IB, EB, OECD, EFTA, China (gaozhong certificate) or Ukraine (свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти).
  • Candidates who are EU, EFTA, Switzerland or UK citizens and their secondary education was conducted in systems such as: IB, EB, OECD, EFTA, China (gaozhong certificate) or Ukraine (свідоцтво про здобуття повної загальної середньої освіти) DO NOT NEED to possess English language certificate.

  The Preparatory Course will be held on condition of minimum 20 students registered.
