Overview of the university
The McGill Luxembourg Centre for Finance (MLCF) aims to advance finance education and leadership across Europe by combining academic excellence, industry relevance, and community engagement.
As a European extension of McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management, the MLCF exists to serve as a dynamic academic hub advancing finance education, research, and industry engagement in the heart of Europe.
Rooted in McGill’s global academic leadership and Luxembourg’s position as a leading financial centre, the MLCF supports the delivery of specialized graduate programmes, fosters applied learning opportunities, and creates meaningful connections between students, faculty, and financial professionals to address the evolving needs of the finance sector.
The first programme of the MLCF in Luxembourg is a Master of Management in Finance (MMF) part-time.
It is the First and Only Top Globally Ranked MMF programme delivered in Luxembourg.
The MMF is currently ranked #1 in North America and among the top 40 worldwide, according to Financial Times Global Masters in Finance 2025 and QS World University rankings 2026, which reflects the strength of the programme both academically and professionally.
This degree is delivered part-time in Luxembourg and is dedicated to students or professionals who want to study Finance and work at the same time (face to face classes on weekends twice a month + remote classes on selected weekday evenings).
It is open to candidates with and without prior work experience.
