Course overview
Ideal for anyone considering drama school, this course prepares you to approach the audition process with skill and confidence.
Over the two weeks, you will work on classical and modern speeches, as well as set texts – learning vocal techniques and physical exercises to support your audition preparation. In addition, you will rehearse scenes to help develop your screen acting technique. Our tutors will offer advice on how to select monologues and present well during an audition. The course culminates in a day of mock auditions, where you will be required to perform speeches, sight-read, sing and present scene work for camera.*
*Please note that material recorded on this course cannot be made available for use outside of LAMDA.
