Course overview

Why does English have so many variants and dialects? Why do women use language differently to men? Why do we have so many alternative and unusual pronunciations? Our English Language and Teaching course will allow you to explore these questions, further your love of the English language and prepare you to teach it to people all around the world.

Entry requirements

You will normally need 96-112 UCAS tariff points (from a maximum of four Advanced Level qualifications). We welcome a range of qualifications that meet this requirement, such as A/AS Levels, BTEC, Access Courses, International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge Pre-U, Extended Project etc.
