Course overview
This programme is aimed at students who wish to become Counselling practitioners. The degree adopts an integrative approach to counselling practice with an emphasis on embedding knowledge of integrating elements of the major theoretical approaches and counselling methodologies.
Students develop theoretical knowledge, counselling skills and experience, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, research skills and critical awareness. Students will be introduced to the relevance and practical application of knowledge and counselling skills through practical learning, placement and research opportunities.

Entry requirements
You will normally need 96-112 UCAS tariff points (from a maximum of four Advanced Level qualifications). We welcome a range of qualifications that meet this requirement, such as A/AS Levels, BTEC, Access Courses, International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge Pre-U, Extended Project etc.Courses you may be interested in at other institutions
