About Mediation, Interpreting, and Intercultural Communication, Bachelor Degree - at IULM University of Milan

The University's historical vocation in the teaching of foreign languages is integrated with its specificity in the field of communication. In addition, the programme is delivered in collaboration with the Scuola Superiore per Mediatori Linguistici "Carlo Bo", a renowned Italian institution specializing in the training of interpreters and translators.

Interpreting and Translation Techniques:
This curriculum provides in-depth training in interpreting and translation techniques, alongside the digital tools essential for the profession. While refining mediation skills, it also offers a solid preparation for pursuing advanced studies in translation or interpreting at the master’s level. -
Emerging Languages and Multicultural Competencies:
Focused on the demands of a globalized world, this curriculum emphasizes linguistic competence in emerging languages (Arabic, Chinese, and Russian) and the understanding of contemporary cultural anthropology. It provides mediators with tools to move in multicultural contexts effectively. -
Linguistic Mediation for Marketing and Business:
Centered on the corporate world, this curriculum provides expertise in economics, marketing, effective communication techniques, and public speaking. Insights into workplace psychology prepare graduates to excel in professional relationships and communication in today’s business world.
