About Global Business Management, Postgraduate Certificate - at Howest University of Applied Sciences
The Postgraduate Certificate in Global Business Management is aimed at students who already hold at least a bachelor's degree. The purpose of this one-year programme is to offer an introduction to International Business Management with particular focus on components such as International Business, Customer Relationship Management, Project Entrepreneurship, International Marketing and Sustainable Business Management.
We offer future-proof training, emphasizing innovation and change. Students must therefore be aware of the increasingly digital working environment. This focus is reflected in course units like Innovation Management, Change Management, AI Fundamentals and Website Management.
Expanding intercultural skills and keeping up with the latest evolutions in consumer behaviour are also integral components.
This is a practice-oriented programme where students are given practical assignments and the working methods used are those suited for a more hands-on approach. For this reason, we often work on projects and/or in teams.
Students follow additional courses according to their personal interest. The elective course units offered include Human Resources Management, New Supply Chain and Blockchain, Personal Development & Group Processes, Global Trends, Event & Project Management, International Business Law, Financial Risk Management, Chinese Language and Culture and/or English Language Proficiency.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Global Business Management consists of a total of 60 ECTS / 30 ECTS per semester.
