Course overview
This degree provides students with a full educational programme in both business and law. The programme also explores the many inter-relationships between the two disciplines. In this way students are equipped to make informed choices relating to their subsequent careers as they are in a position to apply their knowledge in a range of business and legal disciplines.
On completion of the course, students wishing to pursue careers in business can do so in two ways. Firstly, they can provide legal advice to other departments within the organisation in areas such as marketing, personnel, production, etc. Secondly, they can choose to apply their general business and administrative skills to the management of a legal practice.
Graduates wishing to pursue legal careers may continue their education by preparing for the traditional legal professions as solicitors or barristers. All graduates may also choose to advance their studies and research skills at post-graduate level.
Part time variation available to EU students only.
