In our Bachelor of Science in Nursing, you gain the necessary technical and social competence to enrich the health sector as a nursing expert.

Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing covers the following topics:

• Independent diagnosis of care problems
• Identifying resources and implementing defined measures
• Use of research findings in nursing decisions
• Reflection on existing nursing practices
• Development and evaluation of new possibilities for action
• Case management, community care, quality management
• Development of new fields of activity such as counselling, and health promotion and prevention

Entry requirements

All applicants must be qualified to study at an Austrian university.

German language skills

Please note that the degree programme is conducted in German language! A proof of language proficiency is part of the admission requirements. A very good command of the German language is necessary. Minimum: B2 level, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR.

The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences does not offer any German language courses prior to admission to a study programme. Prospective students have to take care about that on their own responsibility.
