Course overview
Doctoral studies at the Department of Biochemistry are normally carried out in a four-year full-time form. Its main focus is the scientific research activity of the doctoral student, however, it also includes the completion of at least 2 elective courses, passing the English language exam and the state doctoral exam. Students also participate in the teaching activities of the department and are required to complete an internship outside their home laboratory as part of their studies. The study culminates in the defence of a dissertation based on the PhD student's professional publications.
