About Screen & Media, BA - at Collarts
Collarts has a reputation for attracting industry-leading practitioners with a passion for teaching and mentoring. You’ll develop skills across all the stages of production, from ideation to distribution, allowing you to fully explore your creative ambitions.
Collarts is Victoria's only ARRI-accredited film school, using Alexa35 cameras and ARRI signature lens.
Through our extensive network of partnerships and industry relationships (including the world-renowned Melbourne International Film Festival), you'll have access to exclusive internships and mentorships that will kickstart your career in a thriving industry.
You'll acquire practical skills in screenwriting, editing, colour grading, lighting and cinematography (including the option of ARRI micro-certification), production design, directing, and producing alongside the stream of media studies units that will enable you to develop your film literacy, which is a critical ingredient in the recipe for success.
