This is an interactive course which includes blended learning and encourages your active participation. Industry experts will also be invited to speak with student groups and there is a yearly Graduate Panel for previous students to share their experiences with those currently studying.

HNC Social Services part-time students will complete one day per week on placement from early in the course to the completion of studies within a social care setting allowing for the opportunity to gain experience working directly with service users, put theory into practice in a care setting and complete the SVQ3 units.

Please Note:
  • The cost shown is for year one of the course only.
  • You'll be required to attend college on a Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6pm-9pm for two academic years.
