The city of Bristol

The University is at the heart of Bristol in the SouthWest of England, under two hours from London. One of Europe's most exciting, creative cities, Bristol offers a world of opportunities close to campus. Big enough to be exciting but small enough to be safe and friendly, it’s known for its independent spirit, historic architecture, beautiful parks and vibrant cultural scene. The city of Bristol shares the University’s commitment to the environment and has an ambitious green strategy.

Student life

Bristol Students’ Union supports over 350 societies and clubs covering a wide range of interests including more than 50 country-specific and religious societies, allowing students to take part in sport, music or drama, or enjoy hobbies with new friends.

At the heart of the campus is the Global Lounge, a cultural hub where students can connect, learn from each other and find out about global opportunities. Regular social events and activities celebrate different cultures and strengthen the university’s diverse community.

The University also provides inclusive support services including wellbeing and mental health support, academic support and healthcare, so every student can make the most of their time at Bristol.
