Course overview
This two to four-years part-time programme has been developed to provide registered healthcare professionals currently working in a healthcare environment in the UK with an opportunity to top up their qualifications to first degree level.
At the present time this programme is also suitable for registered healthcare professionals currently working within the European Union.
The programme will enable individual nurses, paramedics, physiotherapists, radiographers and other registered health professionals to obtain a formal degree qualification by attending Bangor University; where graduate, lifelong learning skills together with the use of evidence based practice will be developed to enhance current professional and academic skills.
It is envisaged that by learning additional and transferable skills such as critical thinking and problem solving, students’ current professional and academic skills will be enhanced. This should increase both the overall employability and career progression of any registered healthcare professional completing the programme.
As one of the leading UK providers of education in the Healthcare Sciences, Bangor University is able to offer students an exceptional learning experience which benefits not only from the practical experience of staff but also from the research strength within the school.
